Mission & Vision

Mission

To act as a catalyst by Development of local infrastructure and promoting growth in agricultural and non-agricultural sector by management, creating employment, development of socio-economic situation, development of management system of local government institutes and acting as a catalyst in poverty alleviation at root level.

 

Vision:

As a government agency, LGED will interact with professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness in following interrelated and supportive activities:

  1. Will work for development, maintenance and management in transportation, business and small-scale water management by assuring participation of public and local government institutions considering social and environmental aspects.
  2. Capacity development of local government institutions and serving the local public and stakeholders by technical and institutional support.
